Well, I finally got to really check out your site and felt compelled to write. just had to let you know what a great job you've done! I don't know how many people are involved with the site, but it's friggin lovely. I imagine there are a lot of hits from people here in jersey (im in aberdeen) as well as all over the planet since the sop's is the greatest show to ever be on tv/cable, period! hope to see more updates, but I guess they're done w/ loc shooting now, eh? none the less, awesome job! later, regards,

I will also confirm that this body shop was in Harrison NJ, in fact my father owned this body shop for five years and sold it in 1971, another thing to note is the house next door is where we lived and my father just had a 2 minute walk to work each day. The address of the shop is 5 Cleveland Ave, and the house address was 9 Cleveland Ave. Another tidbit was the phone number to the shop was the same as the house phone number, so when my dad would have lunch at home and the phone rang he was right there to answer it. One more little thing, the houses across the street once was a vacant lot owned by Callahan Cement Co. and as kids we played box ball, stick ball and touch football there. When the shop was sold the new owners changed the name to Cleveland Auto Body. My father leased the shop (which by the way was a truck terminal and loading dock) and started the body shop! My father passed away back in 1984 after retiring some 3 years before. My family lives in Tucson AZ, and tears came to my mothers eyes when I showed her the episode of Pussy's garage and explained that was "Dads" old shop. I was born in Irvington NJ, and still have a special place in my heart for Jersey. Thank you guys so much for The Sopranos; I watch it always.
Ralph Levon.

On behalf of my father and our memories of Cleveland Auto Body formerly Mahran's Auto Body circa 1971. Thank You Again so much!!! He lives on...

I would like to thank you for your wonderful site. I am a native Midwesterner living in the Pacific north west. Although I spent a year in Delaware and a year in Massachusetts I was never able to see anything of New Jersey. You have given me not only the Sopranos locations but, a wonderful
pictures of a lovely state.
Keep adding to it, Sincerely,
Rita Lovely

Bob, thanks for your Sopranos site.
I was born and raised in Kearny in the Arlington section(the part north of the Erie Railroad to the Belleville Pike has always been called Arlington..in fact there was only an Arlington Post Office until they changed it to the Kearny Post Office) and of course that accounts for the name of North Arlington. I look forward to seeing more sites identified...I love it!

I'm in upper New York state now but I just can't get enough of the Sopranos
and my old neighborhood.

I needed to get a location on Satriale's for work-related purposes. I went to many Soprano sites (including the "official" one) to no avail and then linked onto yours. Thanks for providing the exact info I was searching for. Of course, I browsed the rest of your site just for fun. Being a
lifelong resident of NJ, I definitely agree that the familiarity of the various Soprano locations adds another dimension to enjoying the show. I grew up in Nutley and know most of Essex County like the back of my hand and now I live in Long Valley (Morris County) where Hacklebarney State Park is located. I get a real kick out of site spotting. Thanks for the info...keep up the good work.

Than there's the visitors who think I'm working for the show!...

Following the botched HBO open audition in Harrison I received several E mails from visitors who thought the site was in some way associated with HBO and / or The Sopranos. Does it look that good?

"I was one of the thirteen thousand people who did not get the opportunity to get my application and picture into the right hands. I am wondering how I go about getting my picture and application in. How do I get an application? Nick D."

Hi,
I just wanted to drop a line and tell you how much I love the show. It's the only show that I never miss. Keep up the great job. I was wondering if you ever send autograph pictures to fans. I would love it if you do. Thanks Julie G. , Allentown PA. P.S. Tell Steve Van Zandt I saw him several times on tour and I had a blast!

Ciao!
I heard that there were auditions this weekend (Nov. 10-12)in New York for The Sopranos. My boyfriend Massimo is interested - he is Sicilian, tall, dark, handsome, has Sicilian accent. He has previously appeared in another movie. If there are auditions, where is this happening? Please e-mail any details.

Thank you - Francesca

I'm now in Belleville but have resided in Clifton and in Paterson. I also drive tractor trailers locally so I've been to practically all of the places where they've filmed scenes for the Sopranos.
I saw your web page mentioned on the Usenet Soprano's group. Very nice work.

What a great idea for a site! Thank you so much for providing this info. I have been wondering about the very things you talk about! I noticed recently that Satriales was "Centannis" in the pilot. Your info about the Irish club is just hilarious, given the humor about the Irish that has been a part of the show!

Last Sunday, after watching the dynamite last episode, I published a new Sopranos webpage – "Dining With The Sopranos." The inspiration for the page is the recurring theme of food, Food, FOOD in the show. "Dining With The Sopranos" features recipes inspired by the episodes. There is a page for each episode. In addition, there are video captures, favorite lines, critical commentary and (I hope) lots of fun.

I am going to add a link to your page on my "Links and Webrings" page tonight. If you get the chance to check out my new page, please don't miss "All in the Italian Family," my first critical essay, and "Martha Stewart Visits The Sopranos."

I hope you will also enjoy the "Caption This" section where readers are invited to supply captions to photo stills from the show. I also encourage people to try the recipes and rate them from one to five tomatoes.

Here's the address: http://people.delphi.com/webusa/sopranos/index.html

Thanks for checking it out. Hopefully, our websites can keep everyone's mind occupied during the long wait for the third season.

A Fan From Berlin German Wrote:

Hello dear Sopranos-Fans,
You don't`t know how lucky you are having the possibility to watch your favorite series. In Germany it flopped completely and all we ever saw was the first eight or ten films of it all. But maybe you know if it´s possible to buy the series on video in "vhs" which is the german (european?) video-standard.
Bye bye
