| When I started this web page I assumed at some point it would draw some media attention, but I never dreamed it would catch the interest of NBC News! A few days before the third season premier I received an E mail from a producer at NBC's Today Show. They were doing a story on the Sopranos and how some people feel that the series casts a negative image of Italian-Americans. They wanted to feature some of the locations used in The Sopranos and wanted me to accompany them. While we visited several locations, the finished story ran about 3 minutes and only contained a few. We were fortunate that on the day we visited the "Soprano House" in Essex County they happened to be filming. These photos were captured from video tape so the quality is not the greatest. If you missed the original broadcast this will give you an idea of how it went. | |

| The morning started out with the producer and production crews filming me working on the web page here in my "hide away". As amateur radio is also one of my hobbies my work area contains most of my radio and computer equipment. | Our first stop was at the Great Falls in Paterson. The day was cold and windy so it wasn't the kind of day that anyone wanted to be there! |

| Our camera man was insistent on getting just the right angle so he ventured out onto the rocks about 20 feet from the actual water falls. If you've ever visited The Great Falls than you can appreciate why I mention this! | I suspect that the camera man was trying to duplicate the "drive by" scenes used in the opening montage as we did a drive-by in front of Pizzaland in N Arlington. I'm certainly no competition to Tony Soprano, but this is a pretty poor picture! |

On February 19, 2001 Virginia Rohan, who happens to be a big Soprano Fan, was kind enough to mention this site in her daily column. For as long as The Bergen Record keeps it on their server you can read the original story via this link. The text version is also on this site - here! Jeff Page, a.k.a. The Road Warrior also mentioned this site in his column about The Wilson Giant, one of the locations used in The Sopranos opening montage. You can view his comments here! |

Jackie Craven who writes the architecture section on About.Com contacted me about using some material in a section he's working on. Check out these two interesting links! |

Much to my surprise we were also mentioned in an interesting article written by Kimberly Potts on E Online. This is definitely an entertaining article worth checking out! 30 Things You Better Know About The Sopranos! |
